Hospital Shop Operations Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity to supervise and support a dedicated team of volunteers in a fast-paced retail environment.
You will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations across two volunteer-run hospital shops, including food preparation, coffee service, cleaning, and point-of-sale activities.
About You- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage task allocation, lead teams, and supervise staff or volunteers in a food service or cafe environment are essential.
- Extensive hands-on experience in espresso coffee making, food preparation, and quality control within a fast-paced retail setting is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to provide clear instructions and on-the-job training, are necessary to support a diverse volunteer team.
- Supervise and support a team of dedicated volunteers, delivering hands-on training and fostering a positive, inclusive, and service-focused team culture.
- Coordinate all aspects of day-to-day operations across two volunteer-run hospital shops, maintaining high standards in hygiene, food handling, and service presentation.
- Promote a warm, responsive customer experience while addressing issues professionally and efficiently to support a high-quality service environment.
