
Caregiver Pay Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented payroll professional to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate caregiver and payroll master data within our HR system, ensuring timely and accurate fortnightly payroll processing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting and applying industrial awards and relevant legislation to ensure accurate and compliant payroll outcomes;
- Maintaining employment conditions, leave accruals, timesheet coding, salary packaging, and allowances; and
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving complex employee queries.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex or sensitive situations;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines; and
- Experience with systems such as aPay, UKG, or Workday (highly regarded).
