Job Title: Production Manager

This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring business growth, production efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met. The position involves leading day-to-day workshop operations, managing daily activities, and overseeing a team of tradespeople and assistants to ensure safe and efficient work practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and operational knowledge in sheet metal fabrication, with proven leadership and mentoring capabilities. Advanced planning skills, ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers on all business development opportunities
  • On-site measuring and quoting of new opportunities
  • Manage daily workshop operations
  • Lead and supervise tradespeople and assistants to ensure safe and efficient work practices
  • Ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and to specification
  • Commitment to OH&S standards and practices
