Bellroy is embarking on an exciting new chapter, expanding its global retail footprint. The company has built strong brand awareness and a loyal customer base through e-commerce and wholesale partners.
Over the next three to five years, the organization aims to open more than 15 premium, experiential stores in strategic U.S. cities. These stores will serve as hubs that deepen relationships with existing customers and invite new ones in.
The Director of Retail will lead strategy, site selection, lease negotiations, operational playbooks, and team leadership across the U.S. retail expansion. This key role involves owning budget clarity, transparent goals, and alignment with a cross-functional team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead strategy, site selection, lease negotiations, operational playbooks, and team leadership.

- Establish 15+ premium, experiential stores in strategic U.S. cities within 3–5 years.
- Bring experience building and scaling multi-site retail networks; balance commercial performance with brand integrity; lead and inspire high-performing teams.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years in premium, design-led retail leadership, with a proven track record of scaling store networks across multiple geographies.
- Led multi-site P&L management, delivering both brand elevation and commercial results.
- Know how to balance location strategy, operational efficiency, and customer experience to drive profitability from day one.
