**Strategic Account Manager Role**:

The key objective of this role is to drive business growth within the public sector and Defence industries.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Fostering strategic relationships with key clients in the public sector and Defence industries.
  • Crafting and executing detailed account strategies to meet short and long-term goals.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing and new target accounts.
  • Collaborating with various service lines to bring comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets, playing a critical role in the frontline business growth.
  • Providing thought leadership and strategic insights tailored to the client's industry challenges.
  • Managing project delivery to ensure quality standards are met and that the services align with client objectives.
  • Facilitating communication and coordination between client teams and internal teams.
  • Monitoring market and industry trends to keep client strategies relevant and proactive.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field; or equivalent demonstratable experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in account management or business development, within the Defence and Defence Industries sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting & exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution of complex, large-scale projects & managed services.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating complex business challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficient in engaging with C-level executives.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet business and client requirements.
