About the Role
  • Provide psychological assessment and therapeutic support to children, adolescents and adults who have experienced complex trauma
  • Complete psychosocial or cognitive assessments as required
  • Support emotion regulation, resilience and mental health goals
  • Work alongside care teams, caseworkers and other health professionals to provide holistic care
  • Build positive relationships with people who may have experienced significant adversity

The role requires a strong understanding of trauma-informed practices and skills in delivering individual therapy and engaging hard-to-reach clients.

About You
  • AHPRA-registered Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist
  • Experienced working with people in complex environments (e.g. OOHC, justice, disability)
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices
  • Skilled in delivering individual therapy and engaging hard-to-reach clients
  • Able to work flexibly in the community
