Occupational Therapist | Aged Care and NDIS at Procare Group

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist interested in a hybrid role offering a mix of NDIS clinical services and My Aged Care services? PC Ability is a dynamic National Allied Health Provider delivering therapy services to help participants maximise independence and lead meaningful lives. This position is based at our Penrith office with the option of relocation assistance.

The Position The role is a hybrid position with autonomy to choose your split between NDIS clinical services and My Aged Care services. We are seeking qualified Occupational Therapists who are flexible and motivated to join our team as either full-time or part-time.

We offer relocation assistance for those looking to move to the area.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of participants and design therapy programs to work towards participant outcomes.
  • Assess participants' functional capacity, including physical and psychological abilities, through clinical assessment.
  • Develop participant-centred goals tailored to the client's circumstances.
  • Access clinical mentors and leaders to support growth and knowledge.
  • Provide best-practice, evidence-based support services to increase participants' life skills and independence.
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to adapt environments for participants, including assistive technology.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration.
  • Experience in aged care and/or NDIS services (highly regarded).
  • Current Police clearance, Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current driver's licence and vehicle (vehicle use reimbursement provided).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, good time management, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem solving.
  • Honesty, integrity, a collaborative attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
