Yard Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Yard Supervisor to join our team in Eastgardens. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of materials to our construction sites.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, with experience in operating heavy machinery and trucks. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering materials to site using our Isuzu Hiab truck and Hino truck, unloading by hand or Hiab as required. They will also be responsible for loading trucks smartly, planning what goes where and in what order so deliveries flow smoothly.
Additionally, they will need to coordinate next-day deliveries with our Operations Manager, ensuring that everything gets where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. This will involve tracking what's out on site, checking tools and materials as they return, and reporting damage or missing gear.
Our Yard Supervisor will also be responsible for vehicle maintenance, undertaking pre-start checks, basic maintenance for delivery vehicles and Hiab crane, and reporting issues to be dealt with.
