Job Title: Finance and Commercial Officer

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the success of Defence projects, focusing on financial analysis, commercial negotiations, and project management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and prepare financial reports for Defence projects and sustainment
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on financial and commercial matters
  • Support invoice processing, asset reconciliations, and impairment reviews
  • Contribute to Defence-specific reporting (e.g. MPR, PPRIP, SPMS)
  • Provide advice on compliance with financial legislation and Defence frameworks
Requirements

This role demands:

  • 5+ years' experience in project finance or Defence financial roles
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Proficiency in MILIS and financial management systems
  • Understanding of Defence financial frameworks and reporting tools
  • Ideally relevant qualifications (AQF 6 or higher)
