Key Role Responsibilities:

  • To prepare and analyse financial reports for Defence projects, identify key areas for improvement.
  • Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders on financial and commercial matters.
  • Support the processing of invoices, reconciliation of assets, and reviews of impairments.
  • Contribute to Defence-specific reporting, including preparation of MPR, PPRIP, and SPMS.
  • Provide expert advice on compliance with financial legislation and Defence frameworks.

What You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project finance or Defence financial roles is required.
  • You should have strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in MILIS and financial management systems is essential.
  • Understanding of Defence financial frameworks and reporting tools is necessary.
  • Ideally, you should hold relevant qualifications (AQF 6 or higher).

Security Clearance: A current and maintained Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance is mandatory as per the Commonwealth requirements.
