About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Market Operations team as a Trade Confirmations Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and following up confirmations for financial market products, including interest rate derivatives, FX products, credit derivatives, and commodities/precious metals transactions.

You will collaborate with your confirmation team members and front-office stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality trade confirmations for our customers and clients. To achieve this, you will deliver trade reporting in accordance with bank policy and global market standards.

As a Trade Confirmations Associate, you will uphold outstanding customer service by responding accurately to queries and questions from our stakeholders.

  • Process ISDA confirmations on trades captured
  • Work across multiple global market products, including derivatives, FX, and commodities
  • Collaborate with your team and stakeholders internally to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of the function
  • Improve productivity through reviewing policy, process, and procedures
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Some global markets knowledge across various asset classes, preferably from an operations or middle/back office environment
  • Comfort working autonomously
  • Understanding of the trade confirmations life-cycle
  • Skilled at creating and maintaining strong working partnerships with colleagues and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with Murex or Wallstreet
  • AFMA accreditation
  • Knowledge of Global Markets and/or Commodity products, processes, and regulations
  • Ability to keep abreast of the latest market developments in regulatory changes, products, processing, and confirmations standards

Our salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
