As an Aerospace Training Professional at Qantas Group, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality aircraft type training and operational training to ensure the skills of Qantas Group Engineering and Customer Engineering staff are up-to-date.

Job Overview

This exciting opportunity is perfect for experienced trainers with a passion for aviation and a commitment to excellence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training on various aircraft types, as well as providing subject matter expert advice and support to our engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality aircraft type training, both theory and practical, to ensure Qantas Group Engineering and Customer Engineering staff are equipped with the necessary skills to perform fleet maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain currency and relevance of maintenance work instructions and training materials.
  • Provide subject matter expert advice and support to Qantas Engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop effective training solutions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent, with relevant experience in aircraft technical type training delivery.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (essential).
  • CASA/EASA type license on Airbus/Boeing aircraft is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate positive outcomes under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
