About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Programme Manager to lead our Defence Services team in providing full and complete management of multiple small, large, and complex projects.

The successful candidate will have suitable qualifications in Project Management, construction, engineering, trade or similar and industry proven project delivery experience. They will be responsible for maintaining exceptional client relationships, developing stakeholder lines of communication and ensuring superior project delivery to exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Develop and implement project plans, scope definition, timelines, quality assurance and financial control working
  • Provide commercial input, delivery expertise and constructability
  • Actively manage and participate in the Scoping, Design, Delivery and Close out Phases
  • Manage and maintain project cost plans including forecasting of risks and cost contingencies
  • Communicate budget variances to the Lead Project Manager, Program Manager and clients
  • Contribute to evaluations of project performance and recommend actions for improvement of processes
  • Conduct project hand over meeting with the Client and agree final account

About You

To succeed in this position, you will need to have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans. Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control is also essential.
