About the Role

As a Project Scheduler at NEC Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in managing the master portfolio schedule and tracking milestones across all programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Management: Support project managers in defining discrete packages of work, providing task-specific information for execution and scheduling.
  • Progress Tracking: Proactively track and report on progress against schedule, including critical path, delays, dependency management, and lead items required for project tasks.
  • Resource Pool Management: Provide proactive reporting on resource pool status, including net capacity and demand, upcoming skill gaps, over-allocations, and the impact of delays on resourcing.
  • Weekly Schedule Planning: Plan and execute weekly schedule planning meetings to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Reporting: Produce business process KPI reports and time confirmation reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Record and report on relevant project financials as required.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide information on scheduled and unscheduled activities to project managers and Heads of Office.
  • Labor Forecasting: Develop and maintain labor forecasts for routine maintenance and project activities.
Requirements:
  • Scheduling Tools: Extensive experience using scheduling tools and knowledge of common planning, scheduling, and resource management techniques.
  • Enterprise Project Management Software: Expert user-level experience with Enterprise Project Management Software (Clarity, Project Server, Primavera, etc.).
  • Microsoft Projects: Expert user-level experience with Microsoft Projects.
  • Analytical Skills: Keen analytical eye for detail and the ability to identify weaknesses in schedule design and setup.
  • Communication Skills: Assertiveness and ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels.
