Floating Assistant Job Description

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Property Manager in managing office/administrative tasks at assigned properties. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing various clerical and office management tasks as assigned.
  • Coordinating payroll, Human Resources duties, and compliance regulations.
  • Collecting rents and fees, updating records, and issuing necessary notifications.
  • Managing maintenance requests, inspecting properties, and documenting inspection findings.
  • Supporting marketing, leasing, and resident services, including orientation, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Attending meetings with owners/agents and maintaining a positive community image.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a responsible clerical or assistant position, possessing excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years' experience in a responsible clerical or assistant position preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to understand and implement compliance regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
