Job Title: Veterinary Support Associate

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Support Associate to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and care to our clients and their animals.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about animal welfare and has strong experience in administrative and reception roles. You will be working with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals under the banner of a respected brand in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls with professionalism and accuracy, ensuring seamless communication between clients and our team.
  • Transfer calls to the relevant department, prioritizing client needs and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Provide top-notch face-to-face customer service, facilitating appointment setting and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
  • Assist with patient admission and discharge processes, maintaining high standards of care and attention to detail.
  • Reconcile register balances at the end of each day, ensuring accurate financial records and minimizing errors.
  • Prepare invoices and other documentation, as well as manage documents effectively, streamlining administrative tasks.
  • Maintain the waiting room store, replenishing merchandise and ensuring a welcoming environment for clients.
  • Perform general administrative duties, supporting the smooth operation of our clinic and its services.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy, and well-maintained, adhering to OH&S guidelines and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Address client concerns and resolve conflicts with empathy and professionalism, upholding high customer support standards.
  • Respond to a range of client inquiries associated with AWLQ, working within established policies and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Strong experience in high-volume customer service environments, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in administrative and reception roles, with a proven track record of delivering excellent results.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite and IT systems ability, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
