About the Role

The Senior Manager International, Advisory and Project Delivery will lead the delivery of funded projects related to trade facilitation, capacity building, and industry development. This role plays a vital part in advancing Standards Australia's mission to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency across diverse sectors through effective project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.

  • Develop and implement strategies to advance Australia's interests and role in the region.
  • Promote and facilitate collaboration between government agencies, industry bodies, and international partners to align project goals with national and global standards.
  • Establish and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and report progress to senior leadership.

This position requires exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, international relations).
  • Proven experience in managing funded projects, preferably in trade, capacity building, or standards development.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
