Senior Risk Specialist

Iress seeks a skilled risk professional to provide high-level expertise in risk management, supporting the growth of a robust risk-aware culture across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as subject matter expert for business unit risk reporting, incident and issue management, controls design and testing, and regulatory compliance obligations.
- Driving the implementation of key programs across regulatory change, business continuity, resilience, information and records management, information security and cyber risk management.
- Supporting clients during annual vendor regulatory compliance questionnaires.
- Collaborating with Group Risk to ensure alignment with Group-wide frameworks and policies.
- Providing trusted advisory services to APAC business leaders, promoting best practice risk management.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Prior experience in a risk/controls role, preferably in banking, financial services or professional services/advisory.
- Strong technical knowledge of risk frameworks and governance.
- Experience embedding risk management practices – from controls design and implementation through to monitoring, reporting, issue and incident management.
- Excellent collaboration, influencing, and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex risk concepts into practical business outcomes.
