Neurological Nurse Specialist

Mswa is seeking a skilled Neurological Nurse to join our team at City Beach Respite. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our clients living with neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor clients' progress, ensuring timely interventions and adjustments to care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of clients' medical histories, treatment plans, and progress, submitting reports as required.
- Deliver high-quality clinical care, including wound and continence management, medication administration, and emotional support.
- Advocate for clients' rights to autonomy, dignity, and respect, promoting a compassionate care environment.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and support to our team of Care Support Workers, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
- Current AHPRA registration as an EN or RN.
- Basic understanding of neurological conditions.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current 'A' Class Driver's license.
- Working with Children Check.
