Chief Information Security Officer

Infoxchange is a social enterprise delivering innovative technology solutions for social justice. We seek an experienced Information Security Consultant to lead our information security program.
This part-time, permanent role is based in Melbourne, Victoria, and involves overseeing the design, configuration, and implementation of security standards for our Managed Services offerings.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting security assessments, supporting customers during external audits, and developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
- Design, configure, and implement security standards for our Managed Services offerings.
- Conduct security assessments and support customers during external audits.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures organization-wide.
To succeed, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in information security, with knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ASD's Essential 8, ISO 27001/2, NIST, and RFFR.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and negotiation skills.
