Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Dams

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to join our dams team in Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications, preferably within the dam industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mechanical engineering design for dam operations and equipment integration.
  • Inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams.
  • Construction support services, including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data, and construction reporting.
  • Preparation of tenders and proposals, as well as providing mentoring.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
  • Positive attitude and ability to see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and grow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and the local industry.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
