**Job Overview**

As a Production Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the workshop production team to ensure project deadlines and labour hours are met. You will report directly to the management team and company directors, with daily updates expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee production operations
  • Understand project requirements, scope of work, and production planning for handover to production crew
  • Meet client deadlines and ensure daily targets are met
  • Liaise with the projects team to execute the project and implement systems for continuous manufacturing
  • Ensure steel components meet critical points for ITP, welding to pass NDT, etc.
  • Minimize downtime and introduce efficiencies on operational activities
  • Direct and supervise workshop staff, including engineers, production assistants, fabricators, general labourers, labour hire personnel, etc.
  • People management skills and delegating tasks accordingly

**Requirements**

  • Prior experience as a supervisor or manager in a manufacturing environment
  • Time management and coordination skills
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or other related heavy industries
  • Experience in steel and/or fabrication (highly advantageous but not necessary)
  • Must be punctual, disciplined, and strict with supervision
  • Must have good attitude, proactive, reliable, and a team player
  • Must have enthusiasm for steel, technology, and manufacturing processes
  • Strong focus on automation and continuous manufacturing

**Benefits**

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year salary
  • Day shift, Monday to Friday, morning shift schedule
  • Supplemental pay types: bonus, performance bonus
