**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Site Leader, the Manufacturing Manager [Bedding] is responsible for ensuring overall operational success with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency and exceptional service to internal and external customers. Other key responsibilities include:

- Budget execution is effective with a focus on product cost, margins, quality and efficiencies
- Meets or exceeds department KPI's.
- Provides significant contribution to the operations team strategy
- Manages a pipeline of projects, systematically developed and executed, continuously improving key
outcomes
- Effective utilisation of resources to improve and optimise our business sustainability
- Safety and Quality Management System accountabilities and responsibilities relevant to the position as
outlined in the Safety &/or QMS system guidelines and procedures

**About You**

The successful applicant will demonstrate their ability to lead by example with enthusiasm, energy and consistency. A highly skilled communicator you can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to the organisation and display the following skills and attributes:

- Strong leadership experience in manufacturing environments, with a successful history of coaching and mentoring staff
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of operational and financial metrics
- Proficient in leading process management/improvement tools and processes such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc
- Led medium to large manufacturing teams through a large-scale change processes across multiple shifts and production disciplines
- Demonstrate and maintain a high standard of personal conduct to ensure compliance with all legislative
and/or Company policy obligations
- Computer skills, including MS Office
- Tertiary Qualified in either engineering manufacturing or an associated discipline.
