Logistics Support Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Support Practitioner to join our team and contribute to the development and delivery of a major land acquisition program in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the creation and maintenance of logistics support analyses, artefacts, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to ensure consistency across internal processes, project streams, and external client expectations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage logistics support analyses (LSA)
  • Maintain LSAR artefacts (e.g. FMECAR, LORAR, RPL) and associated data
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to embed ILS considerations into product development
  • Provide technical guidance to subcontractors on logistic analyses and deliverables
  • Support sustainment programs including VIMS, HUMS, CBM, and RCM initiatives
  • Build and maintain effective relationships across internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience (5+ years) in Defence-related IPS/ILS for complex programs ideally within the Land domain
  • Hands-on experience working with logistic data environments (e.g. LSAR tools) and ILS software platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of ADF sustainment frameworks and support system integration requirements
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering, Logistics, Systems, or equivalent Defence background
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to navigate competing priorities in a high-tempo environment
