Defence Land Acquisition Program Specialist

We are seeking an experienced specialist to join our team, contributing to the development and delivery of a major Defence Land Acquisition Program in Melbourne.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Support Analysis Development: Develop and manage logistics support analyses (LSA)
  • LSAR Artefact Maintenance: Maintain LSAR artefacts (e.g. FMECAR, LORAR, RPL) and associated data
  • Collaboration with Design Teams: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to embed ILS considerations into product development
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to subcontractors on logistic analyses and deliverables
  • Sustainment Program Support: Support sustainment programs including VIMS, HUMS, CBM, and RCM initiatives
  • Reliability and Obsolescence Risk Assessment: Support reliability, obsolescence, and sustainment risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain effective relationships across internal and external stakeholders

Key Requirements:

  • Defence Experience: 5+ years of experience in Defence-related IPS/ILS for complex programs ideally within the Land domain
  • Logistic Data Environment Expertise: Hands-on experience working with logistic data environments (e.g. LSAR tools) and ILS software platforms
  • ADF Sustainment Frameworks Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of ADF sustainment frameworks and support system integration requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree-qualified in Engineering, Logistics, Systems, or equivalent Defence background
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Prioritization: Proven ability to navigate competing priorities in a high-tempo environment
