Our Strings team is seeking a talented Double Bass tutor to join our established yet growing double bass program. As a Music Tutor at Caulfield Grammar School, you will be responsible for teaching within the music department, recruiting and retaining instrumental students, and nurturing relationships with all music students across our different campuses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality instrumental lessons to primary and secondary aged students
  • Working collaboratively with a large String Team and the wider Music Department and School
  • Providing performance opportunities for Bass students
  • Attending concerts, soirees, and sectionals when required

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven tutoring experience within a school music program
  • The ability to tutor and engage primary and secondary aged students
  • A strong knowledge of Double Bass repertoire
  • The ability to prepare students for AMEB examinations or similar
  • An Employment Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one

We offer a competitive salary range estimated to be between $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to:
