Music Instructor for Drum and Percussion

We are seeking a skilled Music Instructor to join our team at Caulfield Grammar School. As a dedicated educator, you will have the opportunity to inspire young musicians and contribute to the school's rich musical heritage.
Job SummaryThis casual position is available to cover Term 3, providing private tuition and supporting the Year 5 Music Program. You will be responsible for fostering young talent, developing innovative teaching methods, and building strong relationships with students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Foster the growth of young musicians through expert guidance and mentorship.
- Develop dynamic and engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Partner with the Head of Music to enhance the school's music program and promote excellence in education.
- Model and embody the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviors.
- Demonstrate expertise in teaching high-level drum kit and Concert Band material, with a focus on stage bands and Trinity.
- Previous experience tutoring in a school music program is highly desirable.
- Adept at connecting with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Enthusiasm and capability to lead within the Percussion Ensemble program.
- Hold a current employment Working With Children Check.
