About the Role

This Senior Business Analyst position is part of the Commonwealth Private Transformation and Growth crew and reports to the Delivery Centre of Excellence Lead.

As a key member of a cross-functional squad, you will work closely with product owners to improve our service and experience for clients and frontline sales and service teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of process improvements for frontline teams and clients using modern automation capabilities and service design principles.
  • Document current state processes, journeys, and pain points.
  • Support product owners in prioritizing work by providing quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Design target state processes and services, applying automation principles where relevant.
  • Drive the removal of potential process, performance, and quality bottlenecks.
  • Be the voice of the user and test the effectiveness of solutions built by the squad.
  • Design and document training to help frontline teams understand changes.
  • Identify operational risks and work with risk partners to build controls.
  • Ensure project and team member efforts remain focused on specific customer needs and intended project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in service design, process design, and modeling, as well as business architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in workload prioritization, adapting plans to respond to business needs, and working to tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in scaled agile frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills for various audiences, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and influencing, managing within all levels of the organization.
  • High attention to detail and ability to drive outcomes and teams to agreed deadlines.
  • Experience working in the financial services domain, particularly in wealth products, is highly desired.
