Disciplinary Case Officer

Job Overview:
The role of a Disciplinary Case Officer entails conducting thorough assessments and producing high-quality documentation in compliance with legislative requirements to initiate proceedings, evaluate submissions, recommend outcomes, and make determinations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing evidence briefs and submissions to provide recommendations for disciplinary action
- Preparing and reviewing Notices to Show Cause and Decisions regarding disciplinary actions
- Providing guidance to legal personnel and counsel in matters appealed to the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (and other courts and tribunals)
- Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including investigators, inspectors, legal professionals, counsel, and executive teams
- Supervising and managing a small team
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- Relevant qualifications in law or policy and/or relevant experience in regulatory or statutory environments
- A solid understanding of investigation strategies, including evidence rules and procedural fairness
- High-level analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and make informed decisions
