The Office of Advancement, within this Division, works collaboratively with Indigenous, local and global communities, industry, and education partners to drive transformative projects and initiatives. From Western's Alpha platform to The Academy, Widening Participation, and Philanthropy and Community Engagement, the Office supports the University's mission to enrich Greater Western Sydney's social, economic, and environmental wellbeing.
About the Opportunity
Western Sydney University is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Database and CRM Coordinator to manage and optimise donor data systems, ensuring effective donor engagement and successful fundraising outcomes.
As part of the Advancement team, you will oversee the University's CRM platform (Raiser's Edge), ensuring data integrity, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting donor relationship management. You'll play a pivotal role in developing workflows, producing high-quality reports and dashboards, and using data insights to inform strategic fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Prospect Development and Research, the Database and CRM Coordinator will:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the Advancement CRM (Raiser's Edge), ensuring accuracy, security, and efficiency.
- Conduct regular data cleansing and audits to maintain data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track fundraising performance, donor engagement, and campaign success.
- Optimise CRM functionality by implementing workflows and automation to enhance donor stewardship.
- Train and support staff in effective CRM usage, developing best practices and user guides.
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure CRM integration with other University systems.
- Provide data insights and analytics to inform donor engagement and fundraising strategies.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until May 2030. The position will be based at Western's Parramatta South Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.

About You
You are a highly organised and detail-focused professional with a strong background in CRM management, database administration, and data analysis. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in CRM/database management, preferably in a fundraising or non-profit setting.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret donor data and trends.
- Technical expertise in Raiser's Edge or similar donor management systems.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities, ensuring data-driven efficiency.
- Ability to train and support staff, fostering CRM best practices across the organisation.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to data integrity and compliance.
- A strategic mindset and able to refine data processes to bolster philanthropic initiatives.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $124,203 to $133,967 p.a. (comprising Salary of $104,953 to $113,204 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
