Cash Collections Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience managing end-to-end accounts receivable processes in a high-volume, fast-paced environment ideally within the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow up on overdue accounts, maintaining professional and courteous communication
  • Proactive collection of payments in line with company policy
  • Monitor and reconcile AR accounts to ensure up-to-date records
  • Issuing customer statements
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Resolving complex queries and disputes
  • Assist in generating AR reports for management
  • Communicating with internal and external points of contact

You will also require:

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Solid prior experience within an accounts receivable and/or debt collection role
  • Accounting or business qualification would be highly regarded
  • Familiarity with large ERP systems; experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus but not essential
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team
