**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Collections Specialist to join our finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, payments, and collections to help maintain healthy cash flow for the business.

As an Accounting Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring customer accounts for overdue payments and proactively following up to ensure timely collection. You will also investigate and resolve customer queries or discrepancies related to invoices or payments, prepare regular AR aging reports, and assist with cash flow forecasting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on late payments
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries or discrepancies related to invoices or payments
  • Prepare regular AR aging reports and assist with cash flow forecasting
  • Meet with the Sales team to review and resolve overdue debtor accounts
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and AR procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
