Ultrasound Team Leader Job Description

Benson Radiology is a leading provider of medical imaging services, seeking a qualified Sonographer to lead our Ultrasound team in the Southern Region.

  • The successful candidate will report to the Ultrasound Modality Manager and oversee a group of Sonographers.

This leadership role involves:

  • Providing direction, support, and recognition through effective leadership strategies
  • Promoting collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork within the team
  • Implementing the performance management process
  • Supporting professional development
  • Supervising less experienced staff members and trainees
  • Assessing bookings and workflows
  • Maintaining equipment and staying informed of the latest techniques
  • Contributing to strategic business plans

  • ASAR membership and Professional Indemnity Insurance (ASA or ASUM)
