About the Role

Lendlease is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Planner to join our NSW Cost Planning team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our construction strategy and contributing to the production of conceptual and detailed cost plans, estimates, and value engineering on major projects throughout Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cost planning strategies to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project outcomes and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Prepare and present cost plans, estimates, and value engineering reports to senior management and clients
  • Manage and control project costs during the concept design, design development phase, and construction cost reporting to final cost
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in the Building and Construction industry, with a strong background in cost planning and estimating
  • Relevant university qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or technical skills in measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities
  • Strong local industry networks and knowledge of the NSW subcontractor market
  • Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Proficiency in Cost X and Microsoft Excel
