Senior Cost Planner

Lendlease is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Planner to join our NSW Cost Planning team, driving our upcoming pipeline of work in the region.
This is a hands-on role where you will be an important contributor to Lendlease's construction and development strategy, producing conceptual and detailed cost plans, estimates, and value engineering on a range of varied major projects throughout Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement cost planning strategies to ensure project delivery within budget and schedule.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate cost risks, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Prepare and present cost plans, estimates, and value engineering reports to stakeholders.
- Manage and control project costs during the concept design, design development phase, through construction cost reporting to final cost analysis.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- 10+ years' experience in the Building and Construction industry, with experience creating cost plans and estimates for large-scale construction projects.
- Relevant University qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
- Sound technical skills in measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities in line with industry and Quantity Surveying standards.
- Strong local industry networks, knowledge of the NSW subcontractor market, and willingness to engage with subcontractors and suppliers when working on tenders and projects.
- Experience driving high-quality outcomes, ensuring timelines are met, and managing multiple stakeholders with competing demands.
- Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Proficiency in CostX and Microsoft Excel.
