Client Liaison Officer
We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the smooth processing of client-facing functions, specifically for residential aged care services.
- Liaising with residential services to facilitate prompt and accurate bed offer acceptances, enabling the early issue of residency agreements.
- Conducting thorough checks to confirm valid care assessments and verifying all necessary documentation is provided by the client or their authorised representative.
- Preparing and issuing residency agreements prior to or as soon as possible after a client's date of entry, including negotiations with clients or their representatives.
- Managing the transfer of lump sum payments between services in accordance with legislative and contractual requirements and timeframes.
- Monitoring daily movement sheets to track permanent admissions and ensuring all bed moves comply with security of tenure and pricing provisions.
- Supporting data entry of admissions into the finance system, including the setup of accommodation fees and supplements.
Key Requirements
- A higher school certificate or equivalent clerical/administrative work experience.
- Experience in administrative roles within the health or aged care sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Data entry accuracy and familiarity with systems such as AX/PeoplePoint.
- Excellent customer service skills, particularly in working with older people and their families.
- High attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills.
- Working knowledge of Medicare subsidy processes and aged care regulatory requirements.
