**Do you have minimum 2 years experience as a **_**home care package care worker**_ **in Australia? Do you have a Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing)? Are you a friendly and flexible person who enjoys supporting your peers?**

Working from Head Office in the Brisbane CBD with access to company cars, you will have experience supporting and mentoring other care workers in the aged care sector. On occasion there may be times it is more convenient to use your own car so you will need access to your own registered and comprehensively insured vehicle.

This role is Full Time Monday to Friday (no on-call or weekends. Part-time may be considered.

You must have a minimum of **2 years experience providing home care package services **in the community for an approved home care provider. And **Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing)** qualification as a minimum.

You will genuinely care about elders receiving high quality care and services enabling them to remain living in their own home.

As you will be mobile in the community you must be comfortable working alone, visiting home care workers in clients homes and providing support and mentoring them with their job role providing services such as domestic assistance, personal care, social support and shopping.

You will be well-supported in your role by our Care Manager, Coordinators, Registered Nurses and HR. You will receive training and the items you need to perform your role.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) AND
- Minimum 2 years experience as a _home care package_ care worker
- Good leadership skills and proven ability to guide, mentor and support other home care workers
- Strong communication skills including a good phone manner and the ability to converse and interact with a wide range of diverse people
- Self motivated and well organised with demonstrated ability managing own workload efficiently and effectively
- A Permanent Australian Resident
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Open Australian Drivers Licence

You will be fully vaccinated for COVID19 and current Influenza and have a reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle. An ability to speak another language is highly regarded.
