Financial Management Specialist

This role is a blend of managing client relationships, staff, analysis and debt management. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial credit background with previous experience in accounts receivable and credit management.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Team Leadership: Set goals and KPIs for the team, mentor and develop team members to ensure optimum performance.
- Operational Direction: Provide hands-on management and operational direction to the finance team.
- Reconciliations & Reporting: Oversee reconciliations and produce monthly and year-end reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assessment: Full control and director of the credit assessment process - approval of limits etc.
- Collections: Discuss escalation of debt and referral and management of process with external parties.
- Experience: Strong commercial credit background with previous financial management experience.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Excel and other computer skills.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff, internal divisions, and external customers.
- AICM Membership preferred.
