Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Business Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Infectious Diseases business, under the direction of the General Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Provide general administrative support to sales and marketing functions, including improving end-to-end business processes, assisting with the compilation of business reports and tenders, and interacting with customers to support conferences.
  2. Compile business reports and tenders, and provide quotations for clients as guided by the Business/Commercial Account Managers.
  3. Assist with the creation of PowerPoint presentations for the Business Unit, and organize training/meeting sessions as required.
  4. Work within and improve the Distributor Management process, ensuring current processes meet Abbott compliance and maintaining appropriate distributor records.
  5. Work with legal & internal manager/stakeholder to produce, implement and manage contracts for customers & distribution partners.
  6. Support existing contracts and minimum sales/volume requirements with the Sales Team & Comm Excellence Specialist.
  7. Support best practice with the Customer Experience Manager (CEM) and Commercial Team for customer database & funnel in the CRM, ensuring information is up to date.
  8. Provide support for Conferences/Trade shows throughout the year, including booth materials and roster.

Requirements

  1. Certificate IV in Business Administration or qualifications in marketing or a business discipline or equivalent desirable.
  2. High attention to detail.
  3. High degree of independence and self-motivation.
  4. Ability to work cohesively and cooperatively in a team.
  5. Results oriented and driven to succeed.
  6. 3-5 Years of experience in a similar role.
  7. Experience in a similar healthcare industry, including Pharmaceutical or Medical devices, is highly desirable.
