The Role:

We are seeking an experienced sales and procurement professional to join our team as a Sales and Procurement Support Specialist. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and update weekly, fortnightly, and quarterly SELL rate cards, with guidance provided
  2. Generate ad-hoc quotations for requested services work from overseas agencies and local clients
  3. Maintain BUY rate sheets for Ocean FCL, Ocean LCL, and Cartage (FCL & LCL)
  4. Time permitting – Maintain SELL rate summary sheets for internal resources and usage
  5. Time permitting – Assist in negotiations and information gathering from core outsourced partners (shipping lines and cartage providers)

Requirements:

  1. Strong understanding of financial terminology, including margin and profit & loss
  2. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  3. Knowledge of INCOTERMS
  4. Experience in freight forwarding, particularly import FCL and LCL workflows, is an advantage
  5. Cargowise 1 knowledge is an advantage
  6. Solid negotiation skills are an advantage
  7. Inside Sales support functional experience is an advantage
