About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UNSW Australia team as an HR Officer, providing dedicated HR administrative and advisory support to the Division/Faculty. As an HR Generalist, you will work across a variety of HR operational tasks that support the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide broad HR administrative support, including data management and record-keeping
  • Act as the first point of contact for general HR queries and provide timely advice and guidance to managers and employees
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues, including managers, employees, and other HR teams
  • Update HR systems and ensure accurate and up-to-date HR resources
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

About You

We are looking for a strong communicator with existing HR generalist experience, who is able to provide excellent stakeholder management and customer service. You will have:

  • A relevant degree and previous experience in an HR administration role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage different priorities
  • A positive attitude, proactive, and problem-solving mindset
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, HR practices, and processes
