Commercial Contracts Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Projects and Procurement team in Perth. As an integral member of the WA Projects team, you will provide commercial support and guidance for front-end procurement and existing contract packages.

  • Develop strategies for sourcing and executing new contracts while ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor performance under contract at project and portfolio levels in line with contracted Key Performance Indicators.
  • Manage contract variations, documentation, and review/approval processes in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Escalate contractual issues to relevant stakeholders and facilitate resolution, including claims, invoicing, and rebates.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a relevant qualification or proven experience in projects within the mining and minerals processing or energy industries.

Your advanced engagement and collaboration skills will be essential in managing stakeholder relationships.

You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a high standard of oral and written communication, and the following key skills:

  • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Significant stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Multitasking and organisational management skills.
  • Experience with establishing engineering and construction agreements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project.
