The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) strives to create equitable opportunities for all Victorians to lead a safe, respected and valued life.
Our key areas of focus include child protection, housing, disability, family violence prevention, multicultural affairs, LGBTQI+ equality, veterans, women and youth. The work we do greatly benefits thousands of Victorians, particularly those who are disadvantaged and vulnerable.
We operate in various community-based settings across Victoria, including people's homes, residential facilities and secure settings.
The Project Officer plays a vital role in supporting complex projects focused on increasing access to affordable housing for Victorians. This includes contributing to project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation, procurement of services and products, reporting and process improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the full project life cycle to meet departmental objectives.
- Prepare and present reports, ministerial briefs and cabinet submissions.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate partnerships.
