Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our Housing Development Branch team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in the construction sector, with experience working on large-scale, fast-tracked social infrastructure projects.
They will be able to conceptualise ideas and turn them into deliverables that meet business needs. They will be open to new ideas, show initiative, and be proactive and self-starting, seizing opportunities and acting upon them.
A strong analytical thinker, the Project Officer will be comfortable dealing with high levels of complexity and will be able to build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
The role will contribute to the delivery of complex projects at the development and delivery phases, procurement of contracted services and products, reporting, and ongoing process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives, including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet submissions, and agency submissions.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
