As a key member of the Transport for NSW team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of access applications under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act).

About the Role

As the Information Access Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Information Access team to ensure effective decision-making and management of access applications. You will also be responsible for managing requests from agencies exercising a statutory power of demand.

About You

You will possess a detailed knowledge and understanding of GIPA and privacy legislation and compliance requirements, including managing risk combined with extensive knowledge of related legal development and case law. You will also have highly developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with experience in dealing efficiently and tactfully and negotiating effectively with internal and external stakeholders and maintaining a strong customer service approach.
