**In this role, you’ll**
- Be a talented and highly-motivated Manager and hold the responsibility of assessing the organization's maturity level in terms of record-keeping and developing a program to enhance maturity and improve reporting. This includes implementing strategies and initiatives to uplift the organization's record-keeping practices.
- Lead a small team of up to seven individuals who are responsible for determining the appropriate storage, protection, and preservation of records. This involves ensuring that records are securely stored, safeguarded, and maintained in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

**About you**
- You possess a strong understanding, practical experience, and extensive knowledge in implementing the NSW State Records Act and relevant legislation in NSW.
- You have the ability to demonstrate hands-on experience in successfully implementing, promoting, and delivering effective governance frameworks for records and information management is crucial.
- You ahve a proven track record should highlight your capability in developing strategies and executing projects, practices, and tools that improve compliance with policies and procedures.
- You can build robust relationships with stakeholders in a large and complex environment should be a strength you can showcase,
- You have leadership skills and experience in motivating teams to achieve desired outcomes will be highly valued.
- You possess an in-depth knowledge and substantial experience in records management, including expertise in areas such as retention, disposal, and archive requirements within the government context.
- You have demonstrated experience with record management assessment tools (RMA) is mandatory for this role.
