Senior Systems Assurance Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Assurance Engineer to join our team at Transport for NSW. As a key member of our Infrastructure and Place Technical Service's team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our transport infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support projects in demonstrating compliance with relevant systems and safety assurance processes, engineering standards, and technical and user requirements during all phases of the project.
- Perform systems assurance reviews for compliance with systems and safety engineering requirements and demonstrate that the end product is safe.
- Review safety assurance reports, risk assessments, and systems engineering reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure that risk assessments, risk controls, and verification of implementation of risk controls are documented and managed by the project throughout the project lifecycle to ensure any residual risks can be transitioned to the asset owner.
- Contribute best practice data and information to continuously improve the Systems Assurance function.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve project goals and delivery Configuration Management outcomes.
