Job Title: Clinical Dietitian

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team at National Capital Private Hospital. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will make a significant impact by providing thorough nutrition assessment and intervention to patients, enabling them to meet their nutritional requirements for recovery and improve their health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with diverse nutritional needs
  • Work in collaboration with the management, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive assessment and evidence-based interventions
  • Deliver dietary counseling and education to various patient populations, promoting healthy eating habits and nutritional well-being
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health outcomes

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification that meets the requirements for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia
  • Recent acute care clinical dietetics knowledge and experience, demonstrating expertise in nutrition assessment and intervention
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, promoting effective communication and collaboration
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities with ease
