This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of elderly consumers. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide comprehensive assessments, interventions, and therapies to support clients in achieving their goals.
The successful candidate will work across Melbourne's northern and eastern metro regions, partnering with clients to deliver tailored support that aligns with aged care standards and funding guidelines.
Key responsibilities include conducting home and clinic-based assessments, delivering OT interventions, prescribing assistive technologies and recommending home modifications, preparing reports, and liaising with stakeholders.
You'll have the opportunity to travel across aged care planning regions as required and meet billable hours while maintaining accurate documentation.
About YouAs a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will bring experience in assessments, care planning, and professional report writing. Your strong communication skills and collaborative approach will help you deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current registration.
- Experience in person-centred OT service delivery and report writing.
- Knowledge of ageing-related conditions and disability support.
- Familiarity with CHSP, HCP, SWEP, Great2Go, and My Aged Care.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and ethical practice.
- Valid driver's licence, Police Check, and working rights in Australia.
