Position Overview

RSM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Employment Tax Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our national team of specialists, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on employment tax related matters to our clients and clients of RSM offices internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and participate in analytics models to drive business growth and improve client outcomes.
  • Design bespoke technology offerings for our clients to enhance their tax compliance and advisory needs.
  • Assist clients with broader wage compliance matters, including Employer Superannuation Obligations, SGC compliance reviews, and preparation of submissions to the ATO.
  • Provide expert advice on Australian tax obligations for employers setting up in Australia, including Pay As You Go Withholding obligations and FBT returns.

Requirements:

  • Business/Commerce/Finance degree with Accounting Major.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on employment tax.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
